The "My Beloved Flag" trend, launched by the Hanoi Youth Union, is receiving enthusiastic support from a large number of youth union members and young people in the capital city. Beyond simply showcasing vibrant images of the flag, this trend is also a way for young people to express their love for their country, national pride, and their responsibility to continue and preserve the glorious historical values.
It is known that, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Hanoi Youth Union continues to implement the project of restoring portraits of martyrs and presenting 50 restored portraits to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of martyrs in the city.
In addition, the Hanoi Youth Union has launched and organized many meaningful activities such as: lighting candles to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs; and holding "Historical Storytelling - Continuing the Tradition" exchanges at primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, universities and academies in the city.
On the internet, the "Sounds of the Homeland" section was also launched, featuring over 20 revolutionary songs about love for the homeland and country, which were widely shared. The "The Color of My Beloved Flag" trend spread strongly, with over 25,000 photos submitted to the Hanoi Youth Union's fanpage, "covering" social media in red with images of the national flag.
