According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will remain cold on the night of January 3rd and throughout January 4th. The lowest temperatures in the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam will generally be 12-14 degrees Celsius, with some high mountain areas experiencing temperatures below 8 degrees Celsius. Other areas in Northern and North Central Vietnam will have temperatures between 15-18 degrees Celsius. The highest temperatures will rise slightly, with sunny spells in the afternoon.

On the night of January 3rd, scattered rain fell in North Central Vietnam. On the night of January 3rd and throughout January 4th, rain, scattered showers, and thunderstorms occurred in some areas from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa .

In the Northwest region, there will be scattered rain, with decreasing cloud cover and sunshine in the afternoon. Light winds. Cold weather. Lowest temperatures 14-17°C, 12-14°C in the Northwest. Highest temperatures 20-23°C, with some areas in the Northwest exceeding 24°C.
