Dismissal from the position of Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Province.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 1249/QD-TTg dated October 23, 2024, approving the dismissal of Mr. Le O Pich from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province for the 2021-2026 term.

This decision takes effect from October 23, 2024.

* Previously, the Central Disciplinary Committee held its 46th meeting. At this meeting, the Central Disciplinary Committee reviewed the inspection results and found:

The Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; lacked responsibility, neglected leadership and direction, and failed to inspect and supervise, allowing the Party Group of the Provincial People's Council, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, and many organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws in a number of investment projects implemented by Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company in the province.

Many officials and Party members, including key officials of the province, have deteriorated in terms of political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, violating the Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption, violating regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, and failing to set a good example.

The aforementioned violations have caused serious consequences, posing a significant risk of financial and property losses to the State, generating negative public opinion, and diminishing the prestige of the Party organization and local government, to the extent that disciplinary action is necessary.

Individual responsibility for the aforementioned violations and shortcomings rests with Mr. Le O Pich and several other officials.

Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violations; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Disciplinary Committee decided to issue a warning to Mr. Le O Pich.

In Decision No. 1152/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister also imposed a disciplinary measure in the form of a Warning against Mr. Le O Pich.

The Bac Giang Provincial People's Council has passed a resolution dismissing Mr. Le O Pich from the position of Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee, at the request of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
