Free digital skills and internet safety courses for students

Implementing Decision 30 of the Prime Minister on protecting and supporting children to interact healthily and creatively in the online environment in the period of 2021-2025, Meta Group, Vietnet Information Technology - Communication Center, VTC Netviet Technology and Communication Joint Stock Company and a number of units have organized the course "Digital skills and internet safety for students".

The course is posted on the Onetouch mass open online learning platform with the domain names onetouch.mic.gov.vn and onetouch.edu.vn. Students can participate in the course completely free of charge with flexible and convenient study time. The course also has learning materials designed with sign language in teaching, suitable for the learning ability of deaf and hearing impaired students.

The course introduces and conveys 5 main topics including: Digital world ; digital foundation knowledge; digital health; digital interaction and preventing fraud on the internet. The topics not only provide theoretical knowledge but also have practical exercises and real-life situations to help students practice critical thinking and self-protection skills in the online environment. In particular, the content is updated according to the latest technology trends, helping students not only use the internet safely but also know how to effectively exploit digital platforms for learning and personal development.

The course aims to enhance digital awareness and skills for middle and high school students nationwide. Through the course, middle and high school students will be equipped with essential knowledge, helping them protect themselves and spread knowledge about digital safety to the community, contributing to building a safe, healthy and creative community in the future.
