The preliminary review ceremony for the "Google Digital School" pilot project, along with a thematic workshop on "Becoming an Architect of the Learning Experience," was recently held at Xuy Xa Secondary School in My Duc District, Hanoi. This event marks a significant step forward in the application of technology to education in the locality, especially in suburban and rural areas.

The "Google Digital School" pilot program was launched at Xuy Xa Secondary School at the beginning of 2024, with the participation of 31 teachers and 120 sixth-grade students. The program focuses on applying Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks to subjects such as Mathematics, Natural Sciences , Geography, History, and Music.
The pilot results showed that the application of Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks brought many positive benefits. Teachers improved their digital skills, confidently applied technology to teaching, and helped students become more proactive, creative, and interested in learning. 100% of teachers participating in the pilot agreed that Google for Education brought many benefits to teaching and learning, and 94% of teachers found that Google's tools helped students be more creative and learn independently.
Mr. Do Tran Binh Minh, General Director of AI Education, an authorized partner of Google for Education in Vietnam, expressed his belief that technology can help change the way teaching and learning are conducted, bringing equal learning opportunities to all students.
"We are committed to continuing to work alongside the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to implement pilot programs and expand the Google digital school model throughout the city," said Mr. Do Tran Binh Minh.
At the workshop, Mr. Bung Tran, a global trainer at Google for Education, shared his experiences on using technology to improve the quality of teaching and learning. This learning experience helps create a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment, encouraging students to participate, explore, and develop their full potential.
Google for Education says it plans to expand its "Google Digital School" pilot program to more schools in Hanoi in the near future.
