On June 30, Mr. Ho Tan Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, said that the bus route Nha Trang - Phan Rang and vice versa, operated by Phuong Trang Futa Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - Nha Trang Branch, has officially started operating.
This bus route opens when the two provinces of Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa officially merge according to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units. Including the arrangement of the entire natural area and population size of Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces into a new province named Khanh Hoa province. Accordingly, the Nha Trang - Phan Rang bus route and vice versa will contribute to creating favorable conditions for officials, civil servants, public employees, students and people to travel between the two key localities in Khanh Hoa province after the merger.
According to Mr. Huynh Nhut Thanh Binh, Head of Phuong Trang Futa Branch in Nha Trang, bus fares on the Nha Trang - Phan Rang route and vice versa are applied according to the distance of the route under 20km: 15,000 VND, from 20km - under 40km: 25,000 VND, from 40km - under 65km: 35,000 VND, from 65km - under 85km: 50,000 VND and from 85km to the end of the route: 65,000 VND. Passengers buying monthly tickets for the distance under 40km: 900,000 VND, from 40km - under 85km: 1.3 million VND, from 85km to the end of the route: 1.5 million VND. Students and pupils are offered a discount of 8,000 VND per trip, or 380,000 VND per month for the entire route.
There will be 48 bus departures every day, with an average of one bus departing every 30-35 minutes in each direction. The first bus of each day will depart from Phan Rang at 4am and from Nha Trang at 5am, and both ends will end at 5pm .
