Funding for the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school"

(GLO)- Ia Puch Border Guard Station (Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command) has just organized a ceremony to hand over funds from the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" for the period 2021-2030 to 30 students with difficult circumstances in Ia Puch commune.

Accordingly, each student is given a financial support of 7.4 million VND/school year to help them buy school supplies, food, transportation to school and other essential needs.

This is a practical activity to share difficulties, create conditions for children to study, practice, become useful citizens, contribute to raising people's knowledge, improve people's lives and strengthen solidarity between officers and soldiers of the Border Guard and people of all ethnic groups.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Cong Thang - Political Commissar of Ia Puch Border Guard Station said: The unit hopes that families, schools and local authorities will continue to pay attention, coordinate to care for, educate and guide the children to study hard; at the same time, use support resources for the right purposes, promote efficiency, and help children feel secure going to school.
