Gia Lai: Nhon Chau island commune has 'payment route 4.0'

The People's Committee of Nhon Chau Commune (Gia Lai) has just coordinated with Agribank Quy Nhon Binh Dinh branch to organize the launching ceremony of the "Payment Route 4.0" model, opening a new step in digital transformation, promoting green and civilized tourism in the island commune.

At the program, Agribank provided free QR codes to business households in Nhon Chau island commune. They were instructed to open payment accounts and use QR codes for cashless payments.

At the same time, the God of Wealth speakers (speakers that notify changes in bank account balances) were given to 10 business households. In addition, 5 million VND was also given to the joint management team for protecting aquatic resources in Nhon Chau commune.

The Traffic Police Department - Gia Lai Provincial Police has also coordinated with Binh Dinh Transport Training Center, Thu Phuc General Hospital and Nhon Chau Commune People's Committee to organize an examination and issue A1 class motorcycle driving licenses to people on this island commune.

This is the first time a motorcycle driving test and license issuance has been held completely free of charge in Gia Lai province. This is also the first locality in the country to implement a plan to test and issue free motorcycle driving licenses for ethnic minorities, poor households, near-poor households, workers in remote areas, border communes, and islands that still face difficulties.

This time, Nhon Chau commune had 115 people register for the A1 motorcycle driving license test, of which 103 people directly participated (12 people were absent). As a result, 81 people passed the test (78.64%), 22 people failed (21.36%).
