Quang Ninh strives to prevent storm No. 9

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 9, Border Guard stations in Co To special zone (Quang Ninh) have been actively implementing prevention and control measures to ensure maximum safety for people and vehicles.

Quang Ninh is making every effort to prevent storm No. 9.

The officers and soldiers helped tie up the aquaculture cages; at the same time, called and guided 16 vehicles with 37 fishermen to safe shelters. On September 21 and 22, Thanh Lan Border Guard Station mobilized 2 high-speed boats and 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate in calling 191 ships, boats, and cages to safe storm shelters. Currently, the Working Group is continuing to propagate and mobilize the remaining 14 vehicles to ensure all boats are safe from the storm.

The province has also directed port management units, wharves, tourist areas, and aquaculture facilities at sea to urgently implement preventive measures and evacuate people and property to safety.
