According to the report “Most popular mobile applications in Vietnam 2023” by Q&Me, Vietnamese people spend about 6.2 hours/day using smartphones. On average, each Vietnamese person uses 20.5 applications in a week. Of which, 2/3 of the time is spent on social networking and messaging applications. Specifically, 6/10 names appearing in the “Top 10 most popular mobile applications” in terms of number of users are all familiar applications such as Facebook, Messenger, TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, etc.
It is worth noting that MoMo is the only Fintech to appear in this ranking. MoMo's performance also increased by 1 rank compared to 2022, from 8th to 7th place. The fact that MoMo is in the top 10 most popular mobile applications in Vietnam, standing next to the world's leading popular entertainment applications such as Facebook, TikTok... shows that financial products are increasingly penetrating into the lives of Vietnamese people and have become an indispensable technology application in the daily needs of Vietnamese people.
