With infrastructure projects being increasingly invested in and expanded, and developers aggressively launching new projects, a new cycle of real estate is being established and formed in Long An.

Infrastructure development is accelerating.

Recently, the Long An market has been booming, thanks in part to the continuous investment and expansion of infrastructure.

Following the opening of two sections of the Ben Luc – Long Thanh expressway, the Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corporation (VEC) recently announced that it will focus on accelerating the expressway's progress to open an additional 18.8 km of this route before April 30, 2025, aiming for the entire 57.1 km route to be opened in 2026.

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City approved the investment plan to expand National Highway 1, the section from Kinh Duong Vuong Street, to 60 meters wide with 10-12 lanes, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Long An Province. The project has a length of 9.62 km and is expected to be implemented between 2025 and 2028. The project will alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and Long An and other provinces in the Mekong Delta. This section will also link several major roads such as Vo Van Kiet Boulevard, Nguyen Van Linh Street, the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, and lead to the Western Bus Station.

Furthermore, in Long An, many regional transportation routes have been and are being developed, such as the DT 830 route, the Tan An City Ring Road and the bridge over the Vam Co Tay River; the dynamic axis connecting Ho Chi Minh City – Long An – Tien Giang ; Long An International Port and the transportation and urban infrastructure axis connecting with Ho Chi Minh City; Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4...

Long An province currently has 82 road routes and 6 key inter-regional transportation arteries, which are driving forces helping Long An attract numerous real estate projects.

The "big players" officially kick off.

From the beginning of the year, major players like Vinhomes and Ecopark have been stirring up the Long An real estate market. Investment is showing signs of shifting towards this area as positive news emerges.

One of the notable events recently was the launch of the Eco Retreat project in Ben Luc (Long An), a project spanning over 220 hectares, attracting the attention of hundreds of investors and strategic partners. Eco Retreat is not just a simple resort project, but also offers a green lifestyle, close to nature, meeting the need for a peaceful living space in Long An.

Next, the Vinhomes Hau Nghia urban area officially commenced land leveling in Q1/2025 under the name Vinhomes Urban Lake. This is a very promising project that has attracted much attention from customers and investors. Vinhomes Urban Lake promises to be an urban area that will transform the economic , social, and urban landscape of Duc Hoa - Long An.   The project spans 192 hectares and includes Vincom Mega Mall, with approximately 5000 ready-built townhouses and villas, an ecological lake, an entertainment area, and the largest park in Long An, etc.

Phuc An City urban area borders Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City.

In particular, the latest information about another highly anticipated mega-project by "Vin" Group, the Vietnam International University Urban Area project, also known as Vinhomes Hoc Mon, has officially launched. This project is planned and developed on a 924-hectare plot of land with an investment of 3.5 billion USD, located in the three communes of Tan Hiep, Thoi Tam Thon, and Dong Thanh, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City. Upon completion, it will be the most modern urban area in the northwestern part of the city.

The developer is currently seeking partners/distribution agents and will launch the project in the near future. Upon launch, it is sure to create a huge stir in the Western Saigon market.

Besides large projects from Vinhomes and Ecopark, Phuc An City, developed by Tran Anh Group, is also attracting significant attention. Spanning over 100 hectares and located on the TL 824 highway in Duc Hoa district, Long An province – right next to Hoc Mon (Ho Chi Minh City), Phuc An City is a large-scale, modern urban area integrating many high-class amenities such as a shopping center, sports facilities, green parks, and entertainment areas. Currently, over 70% of the residents have already moved in.

Phuc An City not only offers townhouses and villas but also focuses on green living spaces and environmental quality. Strategically located at the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City, Phuc An City is an ideal choice for those who desire a modern, convenient living space while ensuring peace and easy connectivity.

Reportedly, the developer is currently offering the final batch of 75 townhouses and villas, with many attractive incentives and policies for customers.

With the emergence of major real estate developers and favorable regional infrastructure links, Long An is gradually asserting its position as one of the most vibrant real estate markets in the South. Not only is it attractive to investors, but it is also an ideal destination for those seeking a quality living space, close to nature but still with modern amenities.
