The motto of the 1st Congress of Vinh Binh Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is "Building a clean, strong, streamlined, effective and efficient Party Committee and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, building a peaceful, friendly and developed Vinh Binh commune". This Congress is especially associated with the practice of innovation according to the 2-level local government model, with the goal of being close to the people and serving the people best. This is an important milestone, demonstrating the political will, sense of responsibility, determination to innovate and strong development aspirations of the entire Party Committee and people of Vinh Binh commune.

- Reporter: Could you tell us some of the outstanding results that Vinh Binh commune has achieved in the 2020 - 2025 term?

- Comrade Nguyen Van Thoan: In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Binh commune united and unanimously overcame difficulties, achieving and exceeding many set targets. Infrastructure investment has been increasingly synchronous; the political system has been consolidated, improved and operated effectively. The great national unity bloc has been maintained; political security, order and social safety are stable.

Vinh Binh commune has achieved many outstanding results in socio -economic development. In the past term, the commune invested in upgrading, expanding and building 25 new roads, with a total investment of more than 102 billion VND. Currently, 100% of hamlets have concrete roads to the commune center, meeting the standards of new rural areas. The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life associated with building new rural areas has achieved many practical results.

The whole commune currently has 6/11 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 54.54%. The quality of teaching and learning is increasingly improved, facilities and equipment are invested to meet teaching requirements.

The material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved. During the last term, the average income per capita reached 67.48 million VND/year, reaching 119.65% of the resolution target.

- Reporter: In the 2025 - 2030 term, what breakthroughs and key tasks does Vinh Binh Commune Party Committee propose for the commune to make a breakthrough and develop sustainably?

- Comrade Nguyen Van Thoan: In the 2025 - 2030 term, Vinh Binh commune has identified three breakthroughs. Firstly, strengthening the work of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system; focusing on building a team of commune and hamlet cadres and civil servants with sufficient qualifications, political mettle, and capacity to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Secondly, mobilizing maximum resources to invest in building and synchronizing socio-economic infrastructure, especially rural roads and connecting traffic associated with focusing on building advanced new rural communes. Thirdly, promoting the restructuring of the agricultural sector towards commodity production, organic agriculture, circular and ecological agriculture and the application of scientific, technical and high-tech advances.

In addition, the Party Committee of the commune has focused on a number of key issues such as continuing to promote the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; perfecting the organization, improving the quality of cadres and party members, innovating leadership methods, building a streamlined political system that operates effectively and efficiently. Strengthening national defense and security, maintaining social order and safety in the area; strictly managing and using land and resources rationally and effectively; protecting the environment; and construction order. Vinh Binh will promote cultural and social development, improving the material and spiritual life and health of the people; building a culture and people of Vinh Binh who live with love and responsibility.
