Thomas Müller, at 36, is writing the next chapter in his illustrious career.

On October 2, in the 2025 Canadian Premier League final, Muller scored from the penalty spot, then contributed an assist in Vancouver Whitecaps' 4-2 win over cross-city rivals Vancouver FC.

With home advantage and superior experience, Whitecaps controlled the match and won convincingly, completing their 4th consecutive championship - something unprecedented in the history of the tournament.

This is also the 300th goal of Muller's career for club and country. With this 35th title, Muller surpassed his former teammate at Bayern Munich and the German national team, Toni Kroos (retired in 2024), to become the most successful German player in history in terms of titles.

Before joining Vancouver Whitecaps in August with a contract until the end of the 2026 season (including an option to extend), Muller had an impressive collection: 13 Bundesliga titles, 6 DFB-Pokal, 2 UEFA Champions League and 1 FIFA World Cup 2014, among many other titles.

Since arriving in MLS, Muller has quickly adapted, scoring 5 goals and having 3 assists in just his first 5 games, including a hat-trick against Philadelphia Union in MLS. The German striker is bringing a lot of promise to the Vancouver Whitecaps.
