On November 12, US President-elect Donald Trump announced that he would establish a new ministry called the Ministry of Government Effectiveness, to promote government performance during the 2025-2029 term.

AFP news agency reported that billionaire Elon Musk and American businessman Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the new ministry, whose main task is to promote large-scale structural reforms as well as build a new business-oriented approach that the US government has never seen before.
"Together, these two great Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, cut redundant regulations, cut wasteful spending, and restructure federal agencies - essential to the 'Save America Movement,'" Mr. Trump said in a statement.
The Hills newspaper quoted experts' analysis that, after agreeing with billionaire Musk on the need to establish the new ministry, Mr. Trump will increase the government's responsibility to the people, in which the top goal is to immediately achieve spending savings targets from the beginning of 2025.
Mr. Trump plans to immediately implement a five-step action plan within the first 100 days of his administration through the Department of Government Effectiveness.
Just a few days after winning the 2024 US presidential election (November 5), Mr. Trump immediately started building the apparatus for his new administration. Previously, he announced the nominations for the positions of Secretary of Defense (Pete Hegseth), Secretary of Homeland Security (Kristi Noem), Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA - John Ratcliffe), National Security Advisor (Mike Waltz)...
He also announced his Ambassadorial nominations, notably for positions representing the United States in the Middle East, including the US Ambassador to Israel (Mike Huckabee) and the special envoy to the Middle East (Steve Witkoff).
