Quang Ninh meets with businesses, promotes reforms and removes difficulties

On October 4, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province held a meeting and worked with businesses to grasp and resolve difficulties, promote production and business. The conference was attended by more than 150 businesses, including FDI enterprises.

At the conference, the report of the Department of Finance of Quang Ninh province pointed out positive results in the first 9 months of the year, with GRDP estimated at over 11%. The province has more than 2,900 newly established enterprises and affiliated units, an increase of more than 41% over the same period, bringing the total number of operating enterprises to more than 13,000. To support the private economy , Quang Ninh focuses on administrative reform, cutting 35% of the time to process procedures and supporting access to land and production premises. Total mobilized credit capital by the end of September 2025 reached more than 242,000 billion VND.

Representing the business community, Mr. Pham Van The, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Business Association, proposed that the Provincial People's Committee establish a Center for Innovation and Startup and support digital transformation. Other opinions also suggested that the province accompany FDI enterprises to connect with local enterprises to build a chain, ensure electricity supply and promote consumption of "Quang Ninh people using products made in Quang Ninh".

Mr. Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, hopes that businesses will build a long-term, sustainable, and environmentally friendly business strategy. He also asked businesses to proactively innovate production models and restructure in association with the development of green economy, digital economy, and circular economy. Mr. Bui Van Khang emphasized: "The government is ready with the motto of not only fulfilling its responsibilities but also doing its best to satisfy the people and businesses."

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khang and the provincial leaders frankly accepted responsibility, and at the same time requested relevant sectors, units and localities to absorb, focus on removing and thoroughly handling difficulties for businesses. The province's consistent viewpoint is to serve the people and businesses best, and accompany in removing difficulties for each business and each project.
