Quang Ninh: Many production linkage models promote efficiency

Agricultural linkage models in Quang Ninh are proving effective, contributing to increasing farmers' income.

In recent times, many linkage models in agricultural production in Quang Ninh province have proven to be effective, creating positive changes in farmers' production thinking, increasing product value and increasing people's income. Real stories from the grassroots show the important role of cooperation between farmers, cooperatives and enterprises in sustainable production.

In Tan Hoa village (Quang Tan commune), the Dam Ha chicken farming model of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuyen is one of the typical examples. Persistently preserving the native genetic resources, Mr. Tuyen has invested in barns, equipment, and applied artificial insemination techniques for breeding.

Currently, each year, Tuyen Hien Cooperative, of which Mr. Tuyen is the Director, exports to the market about 150,000 breeding chickens and 30,000 commercial chickens. The products have been recognized as 3-star OCOP and are completing the dossier to upgrade to 4-star. The Cooperative also provides breeds and technical support to nearly 100 households participating in the model, contributing to the transition from small-scale farming to semi-confinement, ensuring disease safety and improving productivity and product quality.

In Ky Thuong commune, the model of linking the cultivation of yellow camellia continues to affirm its effectiveness when Mr. Ninh Van Trang's product is ranked 5-star OCOP in early 2025. Not only developing a growing area of ​​nearly 30 hectares, the enterprise also supports seeds, purchases all raw materials for deep processing, helping people feel secure in production, increase income and enhance the value of endemic crops.

The above models show that the province’s policy of encouraging production linkages along the value chain is on the right track. Along with Dam Ha native chicken and Ba Che golden flower tea, many typical agricultural products such as Binh Lieu vermicelli, Mong Cai pork, Hoanh Bo guava, etc. also continue to affirm their brands in the market.

The expansion of linkage models has been contributing to improving productivity and quality of agricultural products, increasing farmers' income, and actively contributing to the implementation of national target programs in the province.
