At this time, the union has consulted with the unit's leaders to develop a plan to pay salaries, bonuses and other gifts to workers. Talking with Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, the Company's Office Manager, it is known that on the occasion of welcoming the Year of the Horse, each worker is expected to receive a 13th month salary bonus depending on seniority and emulation ranking, equal to 100-300% of the basic salary (equivalent to 5-15 million VND). All workers (more than 300 people), each person will receive a Tet gift worth 200-300 thousand VND. Like every year, the Company's Union continues to consult with the Board of Directors to review cases of workers in difficult circumstances in the union groups to give gifts.
Peony Limited Liability Company (VSIP Industrial Park) specializes in manufacturing garment products, currently creating stable jobs for more than 2,300 workers with an average income of 12 million VND/person/month. With the motto that workers are "valuable capital", at the end of the year, in addition to cash support for Tet for workers, the company's board of directors and union also organize a cozy party with the participation of leaders and workers. Ms. Vu Thi Dung, Head of Quality Management Department, Chairman of the Company's Union, said: On this occasion, the Company also allocated about 100 million VND to organize a lucky draw program. The practical gifts have a meaning of gratitude, helping many workers' families improve their lives this spring.
Preventing disputes
According to the Department of Labor - Employment (Department of Home Affairs), the province currently has more than 26,000 businesses operating with about 800,000 workers; in industrial parks alone, the number of workers is more than 568,000, with about 60% of them coming from other provinces. Surveys at many businesses at this time show that despite difficulties, employers have developed plans to pay salaries, bonuses and activities to take care of employees at the end of the year. Most businesses plan to pay the 13th month salary at least equal to or higher than a basic month's salary for workers (5-6 million VND/person) and a gift from the union (worth 200-300,000 VND). In addition, many businesses also support funding for grassroots unions to organize year-end parties, combined with "Union Meals", lucky draws, honoring outstanding workers, and giving gifts to those in difficult circumstances.

According to Mr. Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, labor laws do not require businesses to pay Tet bonuses. However, after a year of working and contributing to the business, every employee looks forward to bonuses and gifts of gratitude at the end of the year. In addition to that common mentality, they also want to have more income to prepare for Tet. Therefore, the attention and encouragement of employers on this occasion will help workers to be more excited, stay with the business for a long time; harmonize labor relations, limit disputes and the risk of collective work stoppages.
Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Home Affairs , the Department of Home Affairs is drafting a document requesting businesses in the province to report on the situation of salaries and bonuses for Tet 2026; ensuring the progress of synthesis and reporting to the Ministry before December 25. At the same time, closely coordinate with relevant agencies to monitor and grasp the production and business activities of businesses, the employment and life of workers, and the situation of labor relations at businesses. From there, proactively deploy solutions to prevent and minimize labor disputes that may arise in the area before, during and after Tet.
Since the beginning of November, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a plan, focusing on implementing many activities with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet". Accordingly, this year, the unit has arranged funds to give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances (maximum 1 million VND/gift, paid in cash); directed commune, ward and grassroots trade unions to step up propaganda activities, mobilize leaders of agencies, units and enterprises to pay salaries, allowances, subsidies and bonuses before Tet; arranged funds to take care of difficult cases and those who have had work-related accidents; organized buses to take workers home to celebrate Tet...
Mr. Thach Van Chung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, said that on the occasion of Lunar New Year this year, the Provincial Labor Federation directed and strived for 100% of grassroots trade unions to organize the "Tet Sum Vay" program at enterprises; prioritized resources to organize "Trade Union Year-end Meal" with a value of 70,000 VND/meal. Meaningful activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year contribute to enhancing the position of trade union organizations, especially in foreign-invested enterprises; gradually improving material and spiritual life, encouraging workers to work with peace of mind and stay long-term.
