In the Abyei area, 184 officers and staff of the 4th Engineer Team were present to replace the 3rd Engineer Team to complete their term. All soldiers were fully informed of the regulations of the United Nations, the Mission, the laws of the host country, as well as the discipline of the Vietnam People's Army. Thanks to that, the members have the capacity to carry out engineering tasks such as building infrastructure, technical works, humanitarian assistance and other professional tasks according to their assigned functions.
In the first days of deployment, the engineering units began repairing muddy roads caused by the weather, and at the same time, established a plan to support the Mission's infrastructure. The medical team also quickly set up a medical station, ready to take care of the health of officers and staff in the unit, and at the same time prepared a plan to coordinate medical treatment for local people when necessary.

Meanwhile, at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan, the handover ceremony between Level 2 Field Hospital No. 6 and Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 took place solemnly, in accordance with regulations and in a spirit of solidarity and high responsibility. After a week of active work, the collectives and individuals of the two units closely coordinated, both ensuring regular and continuous medical examination and treatment activities, and conducting comprehensive statistics, inventories and handovers. The handover process was assessed as quick, scientific and effective.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor, Doctor Tran Anh Duc, Director of Level 2 Field Hospital No. 6, shared practical experiences from the last term, and expressed his belief that Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 will inherit and promote the achievements to successfully complete the new mission.
Major, Doctor, Doctor Tran Duc Tai, Director of Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7, affirmed that all officers and employees will unite and make efforts to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and Army. After the ceremony of signing the handover minutes and transferring the seal, the two hospitals had an online meeting with the leaders of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department.

Colonel Mac Duc Trong, representative of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department, expressed his joy at the handover taking place in accordance with regulations and effectively, and acknowledged the sense of responsibility of both hospitals. He also emphasized a number of contents that need to be further promoted to improve the quality of work in the coming time.
The deployment of Engineer Team No. 4 and Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 demonstrates the maturity, mettle and international prestige of the Vietnamese peacekeeping force, actively contributing to the common efforts of the international community for peace, stability and development.
