What is Nam Em like now?

Twin sisters Nam Anh and Nam Em attracted attention when they both participated in the preliminary round of Miss Cosmo Ho Chi Minh City.

The preliminary round of Miss Cosmo Ho Chi Minh City 2026 took place on May 30th, attracting many contestants. Notably, Nam Anh and Nam Em both decided to return to the beauty pageant this year.

Appearing at the preliminary round, the twin sisters chose quite similar outfits with a dominant nude tone. Nam Anh chose a strappy dress with a deep V-neckline to show off her curves, and the bodice was embellished with many floral details and sparkling stones. Meanwhile, Nam Em opted for a daring, form-fitting see-through design that accentuated her figure.

Both contestants walked the catwalk, then answered questions from the judges. Nam Anh stated that she returned to the beauty pageant to seek an opportunity after three years of training. The beauty queen wanted to present a new, more mature and improved image to the audience in every aspect.

While Nam Em is aware that her appearance might cause doubt and controversy, she believes Miss Cosmo is an opportunity to restore her image. "In life, we may encounter failures and setbacks, but we can't just lie there waiting for someone to rescue us. We must find a way to stand up and get out of there ourselves. I believe that when one door closes, another opens, and that door is here," Nam Em expressed.

Nam Anh's real name is Nguyen Thi Le Nam. She was the winner of the Vietnam Fashion Model 2018 competition and reached the top 9 in the brand model search program The Face. In 2022, Nam Anh participated in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 pageant and made it to the top 10, also winning the Best Face award.

Nam Em also has extensive experience competing in beauty pageants. The beauty queen from Tien Giang province reached the top 8 of Miss Earth 2016. In 2022, she competed in Miss World Vietnam, winning the Media Award. However, in recent years, Nam Em has been constantly involved in personal scandals and has almost completely withdrawn from the entertainment industry.
