In his speech at the anniversary celebration, Colonel Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Principal of the Engineering Technical College, reviewed the school's glorious history.

Over 60 years of establishment, growth, and development, the school has trained more than 62,000 students in various specialties for the entire army's engineering corps. The school has successfully completed its assigned tasks, with some tasks being completed exceptionally well.

With its significant contributions, the Engineering Technical College has received numerous prestigious awards from the Party, State, Ministry of National Defense , and the Engineering Corps, including: the Second-Class Labor Medal, the Second-Class Military Merit Medal, the Third-Class National Defense Medal; Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Education and Training… From 2015 to 2019, the school consistently achieved the title of “Leading Unit in Education and Training” and was awarded a commendation flag by the Engineering Corps. Thousands of collectives and individuals have received various awards. For many consecutive years, the school has been awarded certificates of merit for excellent mass mobilization by the Hanoi City People's Committee and the Ba Vi District People's Committee.

Speaking at the anniversary ceremony, Major General Tran Trung Hoa congratulated and praised the glorious achievements of the Engineering Technical College over the past 60 years. The Commander of the Engineering Corps requested the school to thoroughly understand the Party's guidelines and viewpoints on education and training; to continue implementing Resolution No. 1657-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on reforming education and training to meet the requirements of building the Army in the new situation; and to firmly grasp the training motto "Basic, systematic, unified, and in-depth." He also urged the school to continue innovating the content, curriculum, and teaching and learning methods to suit each training target group.

The Engineering Vocational School received a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of National Defense.

Major General Tran Trung Hoa noted that the Engineering Technical College should continue to implement the breakthrough in "Education, Training and Combat Readiness" according to the motto "The quality of training of the school is the combat readiness of the unit" and the policy of standardizing and modernizing education and training; constantly innovate and improve the quality of military recruitment, training processes and programs associated with digital transformation. Ensure good facilities and equipment to serve the education and training tasks, and do a good job of preparing in all aspects to meet the requirements of the mission when the school is upgraded to a college...

On this occasion, the Engineering Technical College received a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of National Defense. General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense, sent a congratulatory letter.
