On the morning of May 22nd, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a training course titled "Enhancing the Capacity for International Economic Integration in Vinh Long Province in 2026" for approximately 170 participants, including representatives from departments, agencies, People's Committees of communes and wards, cooperatives, and import-export businesses in the province.

The training course, organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Vietnam Center for Economic and Trade Development Consulting - Vietnam Association of Economic and Trade Information and Consulting, and Nguyen Tat Thanh University, aims to update and supplement knowledge on international economic integration for officials, civil servants, and the business community in the province.
According to the plan, the training program includes six key topics such as: existing FTAs in Vietnam and how to choose FTAs based on market; new non-tariff barriers in 2026; improving capacity to meet technical standards, traceability and rules of origin; priority market orientation for the period 2026 - 2030; enhancing sustainable export capacity associated with document digitization; and trade risk management in FTA implementation.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the training course aims to support businesses in accessing practical situations, resolving difficulties and obstacles in the integration process, and effectively utilizing the incentives from free trade agreements, especially new generation free trade agreements.
