Dynamic Tam Hong

The year 2025 concludes amidst numerous changes, complex climate change developments, and new demands from the two-tiered local government model. Facing these challenges, Tam Hong commune has demonstrated a proactive, flexible, and decisive approach to governance, promptly adapting to the practical situation, maintaining stable socio-economic development, and gradually improving the lives of its people.

Following the merger, Tam Hong became a locality with a population of over 40,000 people, comprising 31 villages and covering a natural area of 22.6 km² . The workload was substantial, and management demands were increasingly high. However, it was precisely during this special period that the unity in leadership and administration, along with social consensus, resulted in a relatively comprehensive year of development.

Dynamic Tam Hong

The Lung Ha (Tam Hong) carpentry village generates a profit of up to 60 billion VND per year for the local people.

A prominent highlight in Tam Hong's socio -economic landscape in 2025 is its GRDP growth rate of approximately 11%, while many other localities are still facing difficulties. The economic structure continues to shift in a positive direction, gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture and significantly increasing the proportion of industry, construction, and services. Industry and construction account for 51.5%, and services 34%, demonstrating the right direction in exploiting regional advantages and linking development spaces.

In agriculture , despite being heavily impacted by natural disasters, storms, floods, and livestock diseases, Tam Hong has maintained stable production. Over 3,000 hectares of crops have been planted, yielding over 13,000 tons of food. High-quality rice farming models, intensive fish farming, and agricultural restructuring continue to be implemented, creating a foundation for a shift towards more sustainable agricultural production.

Although livestock and aquaculture faced many challenges due to African swine fever and prolonged storms, the local government proactively controlled, contained, and supported people in overcoming losses and minimizing the spread of the impact. This is clear evidence of the practical and proactive role of local authorities in managing risks.

In the industrial and handicraft sectors, Tam Hong stands out as a bright spot in the region with its traditional craft villages maintaining stable operations, especially the carpentry of Lung Ha, the plastic recycling of Dong Mau, and the cotton processing of Gia village.

The Lung Ha carpentry village alone contributes over 60 billion VND annually, with many households earning an average income of over 100 million VND. In addition, the planning and infrastructure preparation for industrial zones and clusters such as Yen Lac, Dong Soc - Yen Lac, and the Yen Phuong craft village industrial cluster are opening up new growth opportunities.

Dynamic Tam Hong

Thanks to the plastic recycling business, many people in Gia village (Tam Hong commune) have been able to build spacious houses and significantly improve their material and spiritual lives.

Trade and services continue to thrive, with rural markets, convenience stores, and transportation services developing strongly, meeting the consumption needs of residents and surrounding areas, and significantly improving daily life.

Alongside economic growth, Tam Hong places special emphasis on socio-cultural fields, considering them the foundation for long-term development. Education continues to receive investment; 8 out of 11 schools in the commune meet national standards, and the rate of universal education and illiteracy eradication remains stable. Primary healthcare has been strengthened after the merger, with over 98% of the population participating in health insurance and 100% of children receiving full immunization.

Social welfare policies, care for war veterans and vulnerable groups, have been implemented promptly and targeted correctly. In particular, the poverty rate in the commune has dropped to only 0.36%, reflecting persistent efforts in poverty reduction and income improvement for the people.

The movement to build advanced and model new rural areas continues to spread widely. Many villages have achieved model and smart village standards, the appearance of rural areas is becoming increasingly attractive, and the living environment is gradually improving, although significant pressures from household waste and traditional craft villages still remain.

Another highlight for Tam Hong in 2025 is administrative reform linked to digital transformation. 100% of administrative procedures are received and processed online; nearly 100% of documents are digitally signed; and the rate of applications resolved correctly and ahead of schedule exceeds 95%. Maintaining the "green status" on the National Public Service Portal is not only a technical indicator but also reflects an increasingly professional and transparent approach to serving the people.

Digital transformation is not limited to the government, but is gradually spreading to the economy and society, from cashless payments and electronic invoices to electronic health records, electronic school records, and synchronized digitization of land data. This is a crucial foundation for Tam Hong to achieve breakthroughs in the coming period.

Entering 2026, Tam Hong commune aims to maintain a growth rate of over 11.5%, achieve a budget revenue of approximately 154 billion VND, and reach a total investment of over 600 billion VND. The locality will continue to focus on developing industry and services while protecting the environment; improving the quality of urban and rural areas; ensuring social security; and promoting digital transformation and administrative reform.

Based on the results achieved, Tam Hong clearly demonstrates a proactive and decisive spirit in leadership and management. This is a crucial internal driving force for the locality to maintain its development momentum, gradually break through, and make positive contributions to the province's overall development goals in the new phase.
