Korean media reported the sad news about Park Soo-ryun on June 12th. She was involved in a fall down the stairs while on her way home on June 11th. She was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, but doctors declared her brain dead and she passed away.
Actress Park Soo-ryun passed away at the age of 29.
Family, friends, and fans are shocked by the sudden passing of Park Soo-ryun. Many colleagues expressed their condolences and paid tribute to the actress on their personal social media accounts. Among them, actor Lee Won-jang wrote: "I can't believe it! She was so young and worked harder than anyone."
Park Soo-ryun's family decided to donate her organs to those in need. Her mother shared, "She was brain dead, but her heart was still beating. Someone must be in desperate need! As her parents, we can rest assured knowing her heart is still beating rhythmically inside someone's chest."
Park Soo-ryun's remains are being kept at Suwon Hospital, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, and her funeral will be held on June 13th.
Park Soo-ryun made her public debut in 2018 as a musical theater actress. She worked diligently in this field and participated in many plays, including "The Days We Loved" and "Siddhartha," before starring in the television drama "Snowdrop."
