Industry and trade sector promotes trade promotion and international economic integration

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first 6 months of the year, industrial production in the province (after the merger) grew quite well, with the industrial production index increasing by 14% over the same period. Some industries with growth rates include wood processing, food, clothing, prefabricated metal products, etc.

The province's total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at over VND111,366 billion, up 16.09%. Export turnover is estimated at over USD1,863 million, up 17.64%. Import turnover in the first 6 months is estimated at over USD1,114 million, down 8%.

The province has planned 31 industrial clusters with a total area of 1,655.86 hectares, currently has 22 registered investment projects, total capital of over 5,020 billion VND, creating jobs for nearly 9,500 workers...

After the merger, the whole industry united, quickly stabilized the organization and implemented tasks.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the industrial production index increased by 14% over the same period in 2024.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Truc Son highly appreciated the efforts of the industry and trade sector in proactively stabilizing the organization after the merger, ensuring effective and efficient operations. At the same time, he requested the sector to continue advising on solutions for industrial and trade development, especially the processing and manufacturing industry, serving consumption, and supporting industries. Coordinate with departments and branches to review the progress of project implementation, strengthen industrial promotion activities, develop small-scale industry; promote domestic and foreign trade with focus and key points, and integrate into the international economy .
