Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Head of the Admissions - Communications and Corporate Relations Department, University of Finance - Marketing, said that candidates are entering the final day of registration, adjustment and addition of university admission wishes on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training with the deadline extended to 5:00 p.m. on July 28. This is a very important stage, requiring students to be proactive, careful and have a clear strategy.

At this time, candidates need to carefully review the order of their registered wishes, consider adding, removing or adjusting their wishes to suit the high school graduation exam scores, this year's score distribution as well as the floor scores of the majors and schools they are interested in.

The arrangement of preferences must reflect the true priority preferences, because each candidate will only be considered for admission according to the highest qualified preference. Adjusting or adding preferences should be done as soon as possible, especially after analyzing the percentile, previous years' benchmark scores and related factors such as scholarships, job opportunities, geographical location, family economic conditions, etc. Avoid waiting until the deadline to do so because you may encounter technical problems or miss the opportunity to make appropriate adjustments.

Encourage students to boldly choose according to a clear career orientation, with a grouping of wishes into 3 levels: dream wish - the major you want to enter - the school you want to enter; feasible - the major and school you feel moderately desired and relatively safe and safe - are the majors and schools that you feel that point ensures safety and a high chance of admission. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the saving and confirmation of accurate information on the system to avoid unnecessary errors.

Carefully check the list of registered wishes by logging into the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training to review the order of wishes, school code, major code, and registered admission combination. Make sure there are no errors.

Carefully study the updated admission information from the school: See the announcement of the minimum score, the method of calculating admission scores, and how to convert scores between admission combinations of each major and training program (CTĐT) that you register to study.

In addition, you can refer to the percentile table and the comparison table of the average score of 3 years of high school transcripts and the average score of high school graduation in 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training and of each school to be able to more clearly determine which group your score belongs to, thereby choosing the major, training program and school that suits your ability.

Determine the need for adjustment: Currently, candidates have very little time left in the official stage to adjust and add their wishes. Note that there is no limit to the number of adjustments, the order of wishes, or the number of wishes.

Candidates should only adjust/add their wishes during this period if: The admission score for each major and school that the candidate wants to apply to is higher (they want to add more wishes to better schools/majors, with higher admission scores than the initially registered wishes) or lower than expected (they want to add more wishes to safer schools/majors, with lower admission scores, located below in the wish list to ensure admission).
