The "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake" Festival 2026

To celebrate the 51st anniversary of the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day, Yen Binh commune, Lao Cai province will organize the "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake" Festival in 2026, with many unique activities linked to the development of local tourism.

According to Comrade Nguyen Duy Khiem, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Binh commune, the opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 AM on April 30th at the Ruby eco-tourism site (village 13, Yen Binh commune).

The program was organized on a large scale with outstanding activities such as jet ski demonstrations, an open rowing race on Thac Ba Lake involving teams from 5 lakeside communes, along with many exciting water sports and recreational activities.

Beyond just experiential activities, from April 29th to May 3rd, the event area also features a display space for OCOP products, local specialties, and key local products.

This is an opportunity to promote the brand image, connect with consumers, and expand cooperation opportunities while attracting investment.

Notably, many tours exploring the Thac Ba Lake national scenic area have also been developed and will be operated throughout the holiday period and the remaining months of 2026.

Tourists can choose from tours such as Thac Ba hydroelectric power plant, Thuy Tien cave, Thac Ba temple, traditional craft villages and community tourism destinations, thereby experiencing the full beauty of nature and local culture.

The "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake" festival is not only a highlight attracting tourists, but also contributes to promoting the image of Yen Binh land and people, honoring the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities such as Tay, Dao, and Cao Lan.
