The "Military-Civilian Cultural Festival" program is one of a series of important and practical events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, along with other activities such as: the "Singing about the Soldier" folk art festival, a painting exhibition with the theme "The Vietnam People's Army: 80 Years of Building, Fighting, and Maturing"; and sports exchanges and competitions...

The performance "Echoes of the Lo River" by the Provincial Military Command's amateur art troupe at the festival.

The series of activities also aims to propagate and educate cadres, soldiers of the provincial armed forces and the people, especially the younger generation, about national traditions, pride, revolutionary ideals, patriotic traditions, gratitude to the heroes who fought bravely for independence, freedom, peace and national unity, and the glorious traditions of the Vietnam People's Army.

Earlier, on December 19th, as part of the activities of the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to organize a sports exchange and a folk art festival "Singing about the Soldier".

The performance "Distant Land" by the Chiêm Hoá troupe won the award for outstanding performance at the festival.

The festival featured the participation of 8 amateur art troupes from districts, cities, the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Police Department. Each participating unit presented a combined song, dance, and music program, lasting 25 minutes.

A large number of people participated in the bamboo pole dance at the festival.

The performances at the festival focused on praising the Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, love for the homeland and the islands of Vietnam, celebrating the heroic and courageous fighting traditions of the nation, honoring the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, and the achievements of the Vietnam People's Army in the period of renovation and integration.

The organizing committee awarded the overall team prize to the teams with outstanding performance at the festival.

At the festival, the organizing committee awarded prizes to 22 outstanding performances and 22 good performances. The overall outstanding performance award went to the amateur art troupes of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, Ham Yen district, and Chiem Hoa district; the overall good performance award went to the amateur art troupes of Na Hang district, Lam Binh district, Yen Son district, and Tuyen Quang city.

The organizing committee presented awards to the outstanding winning performances at the festival.

At the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival, 11 outstanding performances from the "Singing About Soldiers" folk art festival were showcased.
