Over 22,900 candidates registered to take the entrance exam for 10th grade.

This afternoon (May 26th), more than 22,900 candidates participating in the 2026-2027 high school entrance exam in the province arrived at the examination centers to complete the necessary procedures. The exam will officially take place over two days, May 27th and 28th, 2026.

Candidates taking the entrance exam for 10th grade at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School should check their information before entering the examination room to complete the registration procedures.

At the examination centers, candidates are guided to check their personal information, registration number, and examination room; correct any errors related to their registration documents (if any); and listen to explanations of the regulations, examination schedule, arrival time at the examination center, and some important notes during the examination.

The invigilator explained the exam regulations to the candidates.

Prior to the exam, the examination boards had completed preparations for facilities, room arrangements, posting of candidate lists, and guidance on exam room layouts before candidates arrived to register. Police officers, volunteer youth, and teachers were present at all examination sites to assist with traffic management, guide candidates and parents, and ensure safety, security, and order in the examination area.

According to the Department of Education and Training, the entrance exam for 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school year in the province has 22,974 registered candidates for 74 high schools and integrated schools with high school levels in the province. According to the plan, candidates will take exams in Literature, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences. Candidates will take the general subjects on May 27th and the specialized subjects on May 28th, 2026. This is an exam with a large number of registered candidates, and the provincial Department of Education and Training has made thorough preparations in terms of human resources, facilities, and plans to ensure the exam is conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
