Samsung has just announced that it will hold its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event at 10:00 AM on February 25th US time (1:00 AM on February 26th Vietnam time). Based on rumors, the South Korean company is expected to unveil its flagship Galaxy S26 smartphone series, along with several other products.

Compared to previous years, this year's event is being held later (February instead of January). Rumors suggest that adjustments in product strategy forced Samsung to postpone the launch date.

Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to have three versions: the standard S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. Leaked images and information suggest that these devices won't have many changes in appearance, with the main upgrades being the internal hardware.

The top-of-the-line version, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with new privacy-blocking technology. The device will still support the S Pen stylus, a 200MP rear camera, a 5,000 mAh battery, 60W wired fast charging, and 25W wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ may feature AMOLED displays of 6.3 and 6.7 inches respectively, a 50 MP rear camera, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

Leaked images show that the Galaxy S26's design hasn't changed much from the S25, featuring a flat front, rounded edges, and a vertically arranged camera module on the back, surrounded by a pill-shaped bump.

Notably, the standard S26 will have a larger screen size than its predecessor (6.3 inches instead of 6.2 inches). Additionally, WinFuture reports that the battery capacity on this model has been increased from 4,000 mAh to 4,300 mAh.

The RAM and storage options on the Galaxy S26 are likely to be the same as last year. However, rumors suggest that the 128GB version of the S26 will be discontinued. The product also lacks the magnetic strip for Qi2 wireless charging.

Samsung is said to be keeping the camera specifications on the Galaxy S26 unchanged, with a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera, alongside a 12 MP selfie camera.

With the Galaxy S26+, the upgrades are likely to be even less extensive. Besides the new Snapdragon chip, the device will most likely retain the same 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, 4,900 mAh battery, 12 GB of RAM, and camera specifications as the standard S26.

Previously, rumors suggested that the Plus version would be removed from the Galaxy S26 lineup and replaced by the S26 Edge. However, due to disappointing S25 Edge sales, Samsung reportedly canceled development of the S26 Edge in October 2025, deciding to bring back the Plus model instead.

Sources citing industry experts suggest that Samsung initially intended to utilize the OLED display already developed for the S26 Edge in the S26+. However, due to tight development timelines, the company decided to use a panel with similar specifications to the S25+.

Images from Samsung's invitations suggest that Galaxy AI will be a highlight of the new flagship line, although the specific upgrades are unclear. Previously, the company affirmed its continued focus on enhancing AI features on mobile devices.

According to The Shortcut , Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro at the event, with upgraded design and sound quality. Based on rumors, the devices will support head gestures to answer and reject calls, and integrate a UWB chip for better location tracking with Google's Find Hub network.
