23rd Vietnam Poetry Day

On the morning of February 11th, the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts (VHNT) collaborated with Hung Vuong University to organize the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day, the Lantern Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025, with the theme "The Homeland Soars High".

Leaders of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts presented flowers to congratulate the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day.

The program was attended by representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and several provincial departments, agencies, and organizations; leaders from the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts, the Vietnam Poetry Club, and Hung Vuong University; poet and literary critic Vu Quan Phuong - former Chairman of the Poetry Council of the Vietnam Writers Association ; and a large number of members, artists, and writers from the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts, lecturers, students of Hung Vuong University, and poetry lovers.

The 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day, celebrated on the Lantern Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025, is one of the key activities marking the beginning of the cultural and artistic activities of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts in 2025. Following the opening ceremony, numerous poets, writers, and poetry lovers throughout the province enjoyed performances of poems and songs set to poetry, praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and expressing love and pride for their homeland and country.

Poet and literary critic Vu Quan Phuong, former Chairman of the Poetry Council of the Vietnam Writers Association, interacted with poetry lovers.

The Poetry Day aims to honor the achievements of Vietnamese poetry and promote the implementation of the Party's 13th National Congress Resolution on cultural and artistic work. Through this, it contributes to raising awareness, fostering pride and love among all strata of the people for the Party, the State, and the glorious traditions of the nation. It encourages the people to compete in achieving accomplishments to celebrate major holidays and the development achievements of the province and the country, especially in anticipation of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; and to inspire writers, poets, and artists to continue creating valuable works of art and literature, enriching the national treasury of art and literature, and contributing to the building and development of the homeland.
