Nghe An has a new provincial chairman.

Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, has been elected as Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term.

The career history of Mr. Le Hong Vinh:

- October 1995 - November 1996: Technician, Team 704, Construction Company 475.

- November 1996 - July 1997: Technician - Construction Machinery Workshop, Nghe An Road Construction Joint Stock Company, Youth Union Secretary.

- August 1997 - March 2001: Technical officer, Technical Department, Nghe An Road Construction Joint Stock Company (formerly Road Construction Company No. 2), Secretary of the Youth Union Branch.

- April 2001 - October 2004: Staff member of the Planning Department, Nghe An Provincial Project Management Board for Transportation. From July 2002, appointed as Head of the Planning Department, Nghe An Provincial Transportation Management Board.

- October 2004 - December 2010: Industrial Specialist, Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province.

- December 2010 - March 2014: Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Transport.

- March 2014 - December 2015: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee.

- October 2015 - December 2015: Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee.
