On May 9th, according to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the provincial leadership instructed the Department of Planning and Investment to urge units and localities that have not yet reported to promptly submit reports on the implementation of the tree planting and care project as requested by the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security , for compilation.

Accordingly, the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province has sent a document to departments, agencies, districts, cities, towns, and project management boards in the province requesting the provision of records and documents related to Cong Minh Greenery Company Limited regarding the planting and care of trees.

In order to provide a basis for advising and reporting to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, this unit requests that provincial departments, boards, and agencies; district, city, and town People's Committees; investors and project management boards that have not yet submitted reports send them before May 15th.

Previously, in February 2024, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security sent a document to the People's Committee of Nghe An province regarding the inspection, verification, and clarification of the construction of tree planting and maintenance projects in the area related to Cong Minh Greenery Company Limited and related companies and units.

The Ministry of Public Security requests information and documents regarding the implementation of tree planting and maintenance projects in the province from 2019 to the present; the implementation process and implementing units of these projects; the contractors who won bids and carried out the tree planting and maintenance projects; project monitoring records and project files; and units and individuals under the People's Committee of Nghe An province (from the provincial to the district and town levels) involved in the implementation of the tree planting and maintenance projects.

To date, 22 units in Nghe An province have submitted reports on tree planting projects.

These units include: the Department of Finance, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Party Committee of the Business Sector of Nghe An Province, the Department of Tourism, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Civil and Industrial Construction, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town, the People's Committee of Con Cuong District, the People's Committee of Nam Dan District, the People's Committee of Nghi Loc District, the People's Committee of Yen Thanh District, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District, the People's Committee of Dien Chau District, the People's Committee of Tan Ky District, the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District, the People's Committee of Anh Son District, the People's Committee of Vinh City, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, and the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Town.
