The final round of the Comedy and Love Song Contest recently took place at the Dai Nam Theater, hosted by four MCs: Thao Van, Kim Huyen Sam, Vuong Rau, and singer Long Nhat.
The program features a panel of judges including People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Trung Duc, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long, Associate Professor Pham Chi Thanh, singer Ho Quang 8… along with the participation of many comedians such as Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (artist Quang Teo), Chien Thang, Dung Nhi, Le My, Thanh Tu, Hoang Yen, Quy Quoc, and the artist couple Bao Trung - Dieu Tham…

After the online rounds, 8 comedians from across the country were selected for the final round. From there, 4 contestants advanced to the final round: Quang Tèo, Chiến Thắng, Dũng Nhí, and Thanh Tú.
In the final round, all four artists left a strong impression with their emotional and polished singing, thanks to their song choices that suited their vocal styles and personal emotions.
Artist Quang Tèo surprised the audience with "The Scar of Hatred on the Wild Horse's Back " - not only with his experienced singing voice but also with his acting and expressions. At the end, he broke down in tears, his tears rolling down before collapsing on stage, creating a touching moment.
Dũng Nhí showcased his strengths with a modern-traditional duet performance deeply rooted in Southern Vietnamese cải lương (traditional opera). Chiến Thắng chose "Hoa Trinh Nữ" (Virgin Flower) and performed it with sincerity and depth. Thanh Tú captivated the audience with " Tình Bơ Vơ " (Lonely Love) - a performance praised for its rich emotion and realistic portrayal.

In the final results, artist Quang Tèo received good news as he won the Outstanding Golden Voice award . The first prize went to comedian Chiến Thắng. The runner-up positions were held by artists Dũng Nhí and Thanh Tú, respectively.
General director Nguyen Cong Vuong shared that the competition doesn't place a heavy emphasis on professional skills, but that doesn't mean it's lenient. The judges give frank feedback, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of each performance. "We're not doing this to make money, but to give artists more opportunities to showcase their talents, for the audience to have moments of relaxation, and for the artists themselves to feel more clearly that their love for the stage never diminishes," he said.

Judge People's Artist Thanh Hoa was impressed by the authenticity in the comedians' singing voices, not feeling like they were competing but rather singing from their hearts: "Each comedian sings in their own unique style. Unlike professional singers - who are sometimes too formulaic."
People's Artist Trung Đức particularly liked the voices of Dũng Nhí and Chiến Thắng because of their emotionally rich singing. People's Artist Quốc Anh not only sat on the judging panel but also sang a duet with Thanh Tú.
"The program contributes to reviving valuable musical genres such as revolutionary songs, pre-war songs, bolero, and regional folk songs - the very soul of Vietnamese music . It's truly a beneficial platform for artists," said People's Artist Quoc Anh.
