The final round of the Comedy Love Song Contest just took place at Dai Nam Theater, under the guidance of 4 MCs: Thao Van, Kim Huyen Sam, Vuong Rau and singer Long Nhat.
The program gathered a panel of judges: People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Trung Duc, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Chi Thanh, singer Ho Quang 8... along with the participation of many comedians such as Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (artist Quang Teo), Chien Thang, Dung Nhi, Le My, Thanh Tu, Hoang Yen, Quy Quoc, artist couple Bao Trung - Dieu Tham...
After the online rounds, 8 comedians from all over the country were selected for the final round. From there, 4 faces moved on to the final round: Artists Quang Teo, Chien Thang, Dung Nhi and Thanh Tu.
In the final round, all 4 artists left a strong impression with their emotional and refined voices thanks to choosing songs that suited their voices and personal emotions.
Artist Quang Teo surprised the audience with Vet thu tren luong ngua hoang - not only with his experienced voice but also with his acting and expression. At the end, he burst into tears, tears rolling down before collapsing on the stage, creating an emotional moment.
Dung Nhi showed off his strengths with a traditional opera full of Southern Vietnamese style. Chien Thang chose Hoa trinh nu and performed it with sincerity and depth. Thanh Tu captivated the audience with Tinh bo vo - a performance that was considered emotional and very "real".
In the end, artist Quang Teo received good news when he won the Golden Voice Award . The first place went to comedian Chien Thang. The second place went to artists Dung Nhi and Thanh Tu.
Director Nguyen Cong Vuong shared that the competition does not focus on professional factors but that does not mean it is easy. The judges commented frankly, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of each performance. "We do not do it to make money but to give the artists more playing space, the audience to have moments of relaxation and the artists themselves to feel more clearly the love for the stage that never fades," he said.
Judge People's Artist Thanh Hoa was impressed with the sincerity in the comedians' voices, not feeling like they were competing but rather singing from their hearts: "Comedians sing with their own color. Unlike professional singers - sometimes too methodical."
People's Artist Trung Duc especially likes Dung Nhi and Chien Thang's voices because of their emotional voices. People's Artist Quoc Anh not only sat on the judging panel but also sang a duet with Thanh Tu.
"The program contributes to reviving valuable music genres such as red music, pre-war music, bolero, and regional folk songs - the souls of Vietnamese music . This is truly a useful playground for artists," said People's Artist Quoc Anh.
