(Baohatinh.vn) - During the April 30th and May 1st holidays, localities in Ha Tinh province continued to carry out tasks in the new rural development program, spreading a spirit of responsibility and working together for the community.

Despite being in the midst of the April 30th and May 1st holidays, localities throughout the province maintained a vibrant work atmosphere. Many projects and tasks were implemented simultaneously, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to landscaping improvements in residential areas.

Determined to complete the concrete paving of over 1km of road in the first week of May, despite being on holiday, the people of Nam Vinh village (Cam Xuyen commune) are still diligently carrying out the tasks with the highest sense of responsibility.

Thanks to the support of machinery, construction progress has been accelerated, and many sections of the road have been completed on schedule.

Mr. Le Duy My - Secretary of the Party Branch of Nam Vinh village, Cam Xuyen commune (far right) shared: “ We determined that this project serves the practical needs of the people, so even during the holiday, the villagers still participated by contributing labor and coordinating with the construction unit to implement the various components. Thanks to this, the road sections are being implemented according to plan, ensuring the quality and progress as scheduled .”

In Dong Loc commune, during the first two days of the April 30th and May 1st holiday, many residents set aside their family duties and actively contributed their labor. Ms. Bui Thi Tham from Kim Thanh village shared: " During the holiday, I and everyone in the village actively participated in environmental sanitation activities, beautifying the landscape, and working together to improve the village roads and alleys, contributing to building a brighter, greener, cleaner, and more beautiful residential area."

Ms. Tran Thi Huong, President of the Women's Union of Dong Loc Commune, said: "Promoting the spirit of solidarity and responsibility for the community, women members in the commune have actively participated in environmental sanitation activities, garbage collection, and maintenance of self-managed roads. This is not only a practical activity during the holiday but also contributes to raising awareness of environmental protection and building a civilized lifestyle in the residential area."

Meanwhile, in Vinh Trung village (Toan Luu commune), local people are working to clear the irrigation canal system, ensuring water supply for agricultural production. Everyone is participating in the labor with a sense of urgency and responsibility, demonstrating a spirit of working together for the common good of the community.

During this holiday, youth union members in the province actively participated in many meaningful and practical activities; organizing campaigns to clean up village roads and alleys, demonstrating the proactive and volunteer spirit of young people.
