Small alley but heart is thousands of miles

HeritageHeritage15/01/2025

Although Hanoi has many long and wide streets, the image in the cultural memory of this city is still "small alleys, small streets, my house is there" as in the lyrics of the very familiar song Hanoi and I by musician Le Vinh. There have been many frames depicting the simplicity of small street corners but enough to become a characteristic of Hanoi. If the main roads and rivers are likened to the large arteries of the city, then the small streets and alleys are the capillaries that nourish the urban body.
