Hanoi's outskirts are preparing to auction off 25 plots of land.

(CLO) The People's Committee of Son Dong commune is preparing to auction 25 plots of land in the Long Khuc rice paddy area, with a starting price of over 15.6 million VND/m2.

According to the announcement, Lac Viet Joint-Stock Auction Company, in coordination with the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Son Dong commune, will organize an auction for the right to use residential land for 25 plots of land belonging to the Technical Infrastructure Project for land use rights auction in Tien Yen commune - Long Khuc rice field area, Son Dong commune.

The land plots range in size from 74.75 to 148 square meters, with starting prices exceeding 15.6 million VND per square meter. According to the zoning plan, buildings of up to four stories are permitted on these plots.

The auction will be conducted by direct voting, with a maximum of 3 rounds. Bidding will be in an ascending order. The starting price in round 1 will be approved by the Commune People's Committee. From round 2 onwards, the starting price will be the highest valid price from the immediately preceding round.

Regarding the price increments, Round 1 applies a price increment of 5.5 million VND/m2 (fixed difference). Rounds 2 and 3 have a price increment of 2 million VND/m2 (minimum difference).

The auction is scheduled to take place on February 9th at the Hoai Duc Commune General Service Center Cultural House.

Previously, in 2024, this area was the focus of attention when it hosted auctions that attracted hundreds of investors, including one that lasted all night, with the highest winning bid exceeding 133 million VND per square meter. In addition, a number of land plots were also bid on by investors at prices exceeding 100 million VND per square meter.
