Recently, beauty queen Nguyen Tran Khanh Van unexpectedly shared on her personal page a screenshot of a previous interview about her titled: "Khanh Van: After waking up one morning, I suddenly had a new house and car," which was posted by someone named V.
Along with the post, this person sent a message to Miss Universe Vietnam 2019: "How do you sleep to get like this? Please tell me, Van!"

The beauty queen, born in 1995, said this was a problem she faced back in 2020, when her interview was edited and sensationalized on social media, causing misunderstandings.
In a post on her fan page with 2.7 million followers, Khanh Van quoted verbatim her interview answer about the changes she experienced after winning the crown. She stated that the house and car were prizes awarded to her by the organizers when she was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019.
"The house and car were prizes awarded to me by the Miss Universe Vietnam organization upon winning the Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 title; they are the result of my continuous efforts and hard work."
This award has accompanied me throughout my more than two-year term as Miss Universe Vietnam, linked to so many memories. The car helped me get to places where I was needed to help, accompanying me on many meaningful journeys. The home is where I keep the memories from my term that I will never forget.
"And when my term ends, that reward will be passed on to my successor, values that I cherish immensely!" the beauty queen born in 1995 confided.

At the end of her post, Miss Khanh Van stated that she spoke out to defend her honor and to affirm that she absolutely does not support fake news, deliberately distorting words, and manipulating information in a negative way.
When contacted, Khánh Vân's representative confirmed that the information in the article reflects the beauty queen's viewpoint.
Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, born in 1995 in Ho Chi Minh City, is 1.75m tall with body measurements of 83-61-95cm. She is a model and actress. Before winning Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, she had previously won the Miss Ao Dai 2013 title, was the runner-up in Miss Ngoi Sao 2014, was in the Top 10 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, and won the Silver award at Vietnam Supermodel 2018.
As a student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Film, Khanh Van appeared in many film projects such as: "Phuong Khau", "Love Must Be Risky", "The Divine Love Hospital"... At the 69th Miss Universe held in the US, she finished in the Top 21.
