The father of hundreds of students

Storm Bualoi paralyzed many streets in Hanoi, nearly one hundred students of Le Quy Don Primary School had to stay at school overnight. During that stormy night, Principal Ta Nhu Viet stayed up all night to take care of meals, sleep, and play with the students until noon the next day.

Simple but touching actions made many people call him "the father of hundreds of students".

Knowing that many students could not return home, Mr. Viet quickly directed the kitchen to prepare hot rice, sweet soup, milk and cakes for them. Each meal was simple but filled with love, helping students to be less worried and have the strength to wait for their parents.

That night, the teacher hardly slept. Some students cried because they missed their parents, the teacher gently comforted them: "Tonight, the teacher and the teachers are here, you can rest assured." Teacher Viet and the teachers stayed on duty until morning, taking care of the students and contacting them to update them on the situation when they arrived home.
