(Dan Tri Newspaper) - After finding his lost wallet, Mr. Boi asked to give the money donated by the public to those in more difficult circumstances.
On January 16th, Mr. Pham Van Boi (49 years old), from Ba To district, Quang Ngai province, recovered over 14 million VND that he had lost three days earlier.
Mr. Bổi expressed his gratitude to the kind-hearted people who have helped him over the past time and decided to use the 12 million VND that people donated to him to support those in difficult circumstances during Tet.
"I found the money. This is the result of a month's hard work picking coffee, so I'm very happy. I'm healthy and I've found my wallet, so I can't accept everyone's support money. I'd like to give this money to elderly people living alone and orphaned children so they can celebrate Tet," Mr. Boi shared.

Earlier, on January 14th, Mr. Boi returned home to Ba To district, Quang Ngai province, from Lam Dong province. On the way back, he stopped at Ba To market to buy household items and discovered he had dropped his wallet containing all the money he and his wife earned from picking coffee. He panicked and went back to the market to search for it.
Ms. Le Thi My Trang, a small business owner at Ba To market, said that the image of Mr. Boi, with his gaunt figure, wandering through the market looking for his wallet, had moved many people.
Out of compassion, Ms. Trang posted information on social media to help find Mr. Boi's wallet. The information quickly spread, and many people expressed their sympathy for him.
"He wandered around the market all day looking for his wallet. Everyone felt sorry for him because he looked so destitute. So people started a fundraising campaign and raised nearly 12 million VND to help him," Ms. Trang said.
After two days, a resident of Ba To district found Mr. Boi's wallet and contacted him to return it. He was delighted to receive his lost money back.

Even though she found the wallet, Ms. Trang still wanted to give Mr. Boi the money that people had donated. However, Mr. Boi thanked her and expressed his wish to give the money to those in more difficult circumstances.
Ms. My Trang shared that after finding the wallet, Mr. Boi came to thank those who had helped him. At this time, Ms. Trang said that she had raised a "very large sum of money" to support him. Hearing this, Mr. Boi said that no matter how much money it was, he wouldn't accept it and asked to give it to someone else.
"He said he was still healthy and had found the money he'd lost, so he couldn't accept help from the community. He asked me to use the money to help elderly people living alone and orphaned children celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year). I was truly surprised by his kind heart," Trang added.
