Previously, on the night of July 13, an account posted on its personal page that it was assaulted by two Korean women right in the photo booth room in Me Tri (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi ).
Accordingly, on the evening of July 11, Ms. T. and her friend went to take photos at the store, a place that is often frequented by Korean customers. Although Ms. T. and her friend had made an appointment and took the photos within the allowed time, two Korean women standing outside the photobooth constantly urged them.

One of the two Koreans immediately rushed in, grabbed Ms. T's friend's hair, and punched and kicked her. Ms. T tried to stop him, but was also threatened with being beaten. Other customers in the store witnessed the incident, but the staff present did not intervene. The entire incident was recorded by the store's camera.
On the afternoon of July 16, Segyung Vina Company apologized and said it had fired the employee involved in the assault of two Vietnamese citizens. In an official announcement, Segyung Vina said it had fired the employees involved at its headquarters in Korea, apologized, and compensated the victims.
The company also issued a new code of conduct applicable to all Korean employees in Vietnam and at the headquarters when working abroad, and organized regular training courses to prevent similar incidents from recurring.
The incident angered Vietnamese and Korean public opinion. Many major media agencies in Korea reported the news, along with negative reactions from the Korean community about the violent behavior of two Korean citizens in Vietnam.
