Heavy rains have submerged Ky Son, Tuong Duong, and Con Cuong in Western Nghe An . Flash floods and landslides occurred everywhere, completely cutting off many villages, and localized disruptions in communications and power grids. Although the water has begun to recede, roads are still covered in mud, traffic is paralyzed, and people's lives are facing numerous difficulties.

In that situation, with a proactive spirit, VNPT Nghe An has activated a plan to respond to natural disasters in a drastic, systematic and urgent manner. As soon as there was a forecast of heavy rain and floods, the unit had a detailed plan, clearly assigned tasks, was on duty 24/7, and at the same time fully prepared means and materials such as backup generators, cables, connectors, construction tool kits, raincoats, lifebuoys... and mobile vehicles to be ready to access all areas, including isolated areas.

As soon as the water showed signs of receding, on July 23, 2025, VNPT Nghe An leaders were present at National Highway 7 to direct rescue and troubleshooting work. Meanwhile, technical staff at telecommunications centers did not mind the heavy rain and danger, many people had to walk for kilometers, wade through streams, and climb passes to reach the points where communication was lost.

As of this morning, July 25, 2025, the power grid is still out in large areas. Some lines in Tuong Duong have started to have electricity, but in Ky Son, the entire area is still out of power. Although traffic is not yet clear, travel is still difficult, and many points are blocked, VNPT has deployed technical forces to Ky Son, Tuong Duong, and Con Cuong to support transmission and customer subscription handling. In areas that are isolated due to floods, VNPT also coordinates with other network operators to open roaming.

Late at noon, with quick meals with colleagues, the VNPT blue shirts still enthusiastically continued their journey of sharing. Regardless of the harsh sun after the rain or slippery roads, VNPT officers and employees in Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong also participated in supporting local authorities, transporting relief goods, clean water, and necessities to people in difficulty.

The green VNPT trucks go against the flood, filled with love. Each box of noodles and bottle of water delivered is not only material, but also the sharing of VNPT people with the community in times of trouble./.
