"Favorite Employer 2023" is a non-profit survey that started in late November 2023 and ended online voting on January 9, 2024.

The survey received over 62,000 responses, with more than 39,000 people of various ages and professions across the country participating in answering and voting.

The results show that Vietnam Technological and Commercial Bank ( Techcombank ) leads the group of 100 large enterprises voted as the most preferred employer in 2023.

Amco Vietnam, a market research company, provided methodology support to ensure the transparency and reliability of these survey results.

CareerViet CEO Bui Ngoc Quoc Hung said that the "Employer of Choice 2023" program, which seeks and honors the most favored employers, is not a race for prestige. Instead, it's about businesses demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and caring for their workforce, creating a positive ripple effect.

Ms. Tran Lien Phuong, Deputy General Director of Amco Vietnam, said that many interesting things and issues emerged from the survey.

Beyond business success and a positive work environment, employees want to see the company's positive contributions to the community and society. Surveys show that job satisfaction tends to decrease over time.

"The increasing difficulty in retaining employees shows that they are dissatisfied with their jobs and are leaving. Young people now have so many opportunities and jobs to do, and life has become easier," Ms. Phuong said.

Besides that, employees are also interested in business acumen, opportunities for advancement, salary and bonuses, benefits, etc. They are also impressed when businesses actively contribute to social activities, through effective and sustainable human resource programs.
