Newsen reported that Lee Jun Young's ex-wife held a live online broadcast, sharing about the musician's sudden death, saying she still can't believe it because everything happened so suddenly. According to her, Lee passed away a few days ago, and she speculates that he may have suffered from severe depression. "Just about a day before it happened, he contacted me. He said his health was very bad, and if anything happened to him, he asked me to take care of his pet dog," she recounted. She said she promised her ex-husband and asked him to contact her if anything happened. "But then he passed away quietly. Perhaps my promise to take care of the dog reassured him somewhat," she said, her voice choked with emotion.

The musician posted an unusual video online before he passed away.
