Around 10 PM on May 25th, a fire broke out in the tower section of the acid recycling line at Hoa Sen Steel Factory, located in Phu My 1 Industrial Park, Phu My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The burning warehouse, approximately 400-500 m² in size, contained goods and flammable materials.

Immediately after the fire broke out, the factory's on-site firefighting force, along with the Industrial Zone Police Station and the fire and rescue police force, coordinated to extinguish the flames.
Due to the large scale of the fire, authorities had to cordon off a section of the road around the area to facilitate firefighting efforts.
According to information from Hoa Sen Group (HSG), after breaking out at around 10 PM on the same day, the fire was completely extinguished after about 45 minutes. The fire caused no casualties and no damage to goods. Damage to machinery and equipment in the acid regeneration line was negligible, and all machinery and equipment in the factory were fully insured.

The acid regeneration line is an auxiliary, separate line and therefore does not affect the operation of other production lines. As a result, production in those areas continues as normal, and the fire has absolutely no impact on Hoa Sen Group's current business operations.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
