Musician Tran Tien travels with Jimmii Nguyen

After 20 years of nurturing, singer-songwriter Jimmii Nguyen has finally realized his dream of a traveling music program. This music project has received the support of musician Tran Tien.

Singer-songwriter Jimmii Nguyen said that each month the traveling program is expected to stop in a province or city to perform in collaboration with an artist whose hometown is in that locality. After each program, the crew will use all profits for local charity activities, such as a library, a well or repairing a school... The first show will take place on the evening of January 19, 2025, at the outdoor stage - the campus next to the Hanoi Opera House, with the participation of "traveling wanderer" Tran Tien.

"I will participate in the first show: Tran - Nguyen du ca in Hanoi, and hope to be able to accompany many more shows until the du ca passes away," musician Tran Tien shared.

Jimmii Nguyen said that in this first program, there will be familiar songs and modified folk songs or new songs performed in the most traveling spirit with the band (Jimmii Band). In addition, there will also be a famous song by musician Tran Tien translated into English by Jimmii Nguyen, performed for the first time in public.

From the nature of the opera, director Huy Nguyen said that in terms of staging, the music in Tran - Nguyen opera will be like dialogues, and the performance space is "designed" to seem unstaged.

On this occasion, singer-songwriter Jimmii Nguyen will also release a book - a work he considers his autobiography.
