
According to the arrangement plan, Bac Tu Liem district will establish 5 new wards with the names: Tay Tuu, Phu Dien, Xuan Dinh, Dong Ngac, Thuong Cat.
"In this merger, part of the area of Co Nhue 1 ward will have to be separated into the new administrative unit. However, with a firm grasp of the policies of the Party, the State, the district and the guiding documents, we have fully disseminated the information to the people. Up to now, the people in Hoang 3 residential group have shown 100% consensus", shared Vu Duc Khiem, Party Secretary of Hoang 3 residential group, Co Nhue 1 ward.
With a sense of urgency, 17 residential groups in Xuan Tao ward established ballot collection teams and divided members to go to each household.
Signing the ballot on behalf of his family, Mr. Pham Thanh Lan, from residential group 8 of Xuan Tao ward, shared: “The policy of changing administrative boundaries and names has been included in the thematic resolution for activities by our Party cell. The government also went to each house to discuss with each household to grasp their thoughts and aspirations, clearly showing closeness to the people, closeness to the people and for the people. In this arrangement, Xuan Tao ward will be changed to Xuan Dinh. Realizing that this is a common policy of the Party and State, my family also strongly supports and has shown high consensus.”

Secretary of the Xuan Tao Ward Party Committee Le Xuan Giang added: "By this morning (April 20), 8/17 groups had completed collecting opinions, 100% of people checked the agree box."
In Duc Thang Ward, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward have established 8 groups to collect public opinions with 116 members. After being trained by the district, all residential groups have deployed to collect public opinions from 7:30 p.m. on April 19. As of 9 a.m. on April 20, the ward's groups have distributed and collected opinions from 1,150/2,914 permanent households in the area.
"Through the vote count, the vast majority of people agree with the Party and State's policies, especially with the new administrative boundaries and new administrative name of Bac Tu Liem district. We are striving to finish collecting opinions on April 20. For those households who are absent, the groups will ask for opinions on April 21. Through understanding the public opinion, people are very happy and hope that the establishment of the new administrative unit will be implemented soon to stabilize their lives," said Secretary of the Duc Thang Ward Party Committee Can Van Duan.

Carrying out the task of collecting public opinions on the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units in the area, the entire Bac Tu Liem district has established 2,777 monitoring teams with more than 2,800 members. The monitoring teams simultaneously deployed their work on the evening of the 19th with the highest political determination.
"To get good results in collecting public opinions, the district has organized training for more than 1,600 delegates who are comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of wards, heads of socio-political organizations, local police, secretaries, deputy secretaries of Party cells, members of Party cells of residential groups, group leaders, deputy group leaders, heads of associations and unions of 13 wards", emphasized Deputy Secretary of the Bac Tu Liem District Party Committee Nguyen Tien Thanh.
With experience in propaganda and mobilizing people to carry out local and city tasks, the Front cadres at all levels of Bac Tu Liem district were also mobilized to the maximum. Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Dien ward Nguyen Thi Thuy Hanh said: "From yesterday evening until now, the Front cadres and Front work committees in residential areas have been the active nucleus of the locality in collecting people's opinions. For households that are sick and cannot move, we send cadres to their homes to ask for opinions."

Bac Tu Liem District also set a target of completion by April 21. After that, the People's Committees of the wards will compile and prepare a report on the results of collecting opinions from local people and send it to the District People's Committee; the District People's Council will hold a meeting to approve the policy of rearranging and reorganizing ward administrative units on April 24.
