Improve the quality of service to people

In Vong Xuyen commune, since the beginning of 2024, the locality has established a volunteer team consisting of civil servants of the commune People's Committee, commune police, and union members to go to schools in the commune to promote digital transformation and directly guide students to declare information to resolve administrative procedures online.

In addition, the Commune People's Committee also established another volunteer group to perform the duty at the Commune One-Stop Department on Mondays and Fridays every week. The group is responsible for supporting people to perform online administrative procedures.

“The activities of the two volunteer groups help increase the rate of people in the commune using online public services; reduce the time for civil servants at the Commune One-Stop Department when directly guiding people to fill out online applications…” - Chairman of the People's Committee of Vong Xuyen Commune Le Dinh Binh shared.

In Thanh Da commune, a 24/7 online consultation and question-and-answer channel for people and businesses has also started operating since the beginning of 2024. People can get a queue number and make an appointment to resolve their work. The channel also receives feedback and suggestions from people via Zalo. This method brings many benefits, especially saving people's time and travel costs.

Meanwhile, from the beginning of 2024 to now, the Department of Finance - Planning, the Department of Economics , and the Tax Department have coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and towns to issue business registration certificates to 277 households at the market and 213 households in craft villages. The new inter-sectoral method of issuing certificates helps shorten the administrative procedure settlement process by half compared to before. On the other hand, the tax authority can also control households with tax payment obligations, helping to increase revenue for the State budget in the district.

Encourage new ideas

Good practices in handling administrative procedures have been bringing positive results in many aspects. Not only creating convenience for people but also contributing to improving the effectiveness of public service implementation and the operations of agencies and administrative units in Phuc Tho district.

Realizing the above significance and importance, in recent times, the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district has continued to promote activities to seek ideas, initiatives, new solutions, good models, and creative ways of reforming administrative procedures and innovating working methods.

For example, in May 2024, the District People's Committee organized a contest to find ideas and solutions for administrative reform. Currently, the Organizing Committee has received dozens of entries, will organize the scoring and select highly practical ideas and solutions to pilot and serve as a basis for replication.

To continue to maintain and improve the effectiveness of administrative procedure settlement in the district, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district Kieu Trong Sy requested departments, offices, People's Committees of communes and towns to continue to seriously implement Plan No. 99/KH-UBND on administrative procedure control and Plan No. 401/KH-UBND on administrative procedure reform.

In the coming time, the District People's Committee will continue to review and update the administrative procedures announced by the Hanoi People's Committee to publicly implement them at the One-Stop Department. Conduct the assessment of the PAR Index for departments, offices, and People's Committees of communes and towns in 2024.

Along with strengthening the inspection of public services and the implementation of administrative reform in units, the District People's Committee will develop a plan and conduct a survey on the satisfaction of people and organizations with administrative services; as a basis for monthly assessment and classification of agencies, units, organizations and individuals.

 

From the beginning of 2024 to now, Phuc Tho district has received 2,159 applications, processed 2,123 applications correctly and ahead of schedule, and 36 applications are being processed. The commune level has received 14,384 applications, processed 14,363 applications correctly and ahead of schedule, and 21 applications are being processed.
