On May 23rd, the Hanoi City Police announced that at approximately 8:30 AM on May 22nd, while carrying out their duties to ensure security and order in the area, the Public Order Police Task Force of Hoang Mai Ward Police promptly discovered a child exhibiting signs of confusion and anxiety, suspected of being separated from their family.
Noticing that the child showed signs of fatigue, anxiety, and disorientation, the officers and soldiers in the task force quickly approached, kindly inquired about the child's well-being, offered encouragement, and brought the child to the police station for care and safety. Simultaneously, the unit assigned officers to directly monitor and care for the child's health throughout the verification and search for relatives.

The family happily went to the police station to pick up the baby and bring her home.
Recognizing this as a case of a lost child requiring urgent assistance, the Hoang Mai Ward Police Command directed its forces to implement a comprehensive set of operational measures to quickly verify the child's identity and locate their family. With a high sense of responsibility, dedication, and close coordination among various departments, the police quickly identified the child as PAK, born in 2016, currently residing in Hoang Mai Ward, Hanoi.
Immediately after verifying the information, the Hoang Mai Ward Police proactively contacted the family, informed them of the situation, and invited relatives to the station to pick up the child. Upon reuniting with their child in a safe and stable condition, the family could not hide their emotions and expressed their deep gratitude to the officers and soldiers of the Hoang Mai Ward Police for their sense of responsibility, dedication, and thoughtfulness in assisting them.
Although the incident was minor, it carried profound humanitarian significance, clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of local police forces in protecting and supporting the people.
