Mr. Dinh Van Hanh, Director of Ngu Hanh Son Environmental Enterprise, said that the unit was assigned to undertake the cleaning service of the coastal tourist area spanning 4 wards: My An, Khue My, Hoa Hai, Hoa Quy with its own specific difficulties; besides, the awareness of some people in maintaining urban hygiene is not good, often littering in vacant lots, alleys, lanes, deserted roads; while ordering services from the city increasingly requires high human resources, mechanized vehicles, etc.

Therefore, the staff, employees and workers of the enterprise determined to strive to complete the assigned tasks. The results of street cleaning work reached 9,068.10km/year, manual sweeping reached 4,472.57ha/year, waste collection and treatment reached 47,000 tons/year (average 120-125 tons/day). Notably, the elimination of waste hotspots in My An ward and the application of mechanization in waste collection have brought about positive changes, improving the quality of urban sanitation.

In particular, the enterprise has pioneered the implementation of the hourly “bus” garbage collection model in Khue My ward. This solution helps to significantly reduce the number of trash cans on the streets, improving urban aesthetics; in 2024, the amount of garbage collected exceeded the plan by more than 10%.

This is a great effort from the collective of workers of the enterprise in the context that many environmental workers have quit their jobs for many reasons. In fact, the recruitment of workers is facing many difficulties, but the enterprise has proactively made reasonable plans to arrange human resources as well as increase recruitment to compensate for the shortage of labor, ensuring good daily waste collection in Ngu Hanh Son district.

In addition, movements such as "Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday", environmental sanitation on holidays, Tet, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods... are all effectively implemented by the enterprise. To retain employees and promote the spirit of dedication to each job position, the enterprise takes care of improving material and spiritual life, listens to thoughts and aspirations and promptly resolves adequate policies and regimes, striving to create a higher income level each year than the previous year.

The enterprise also pays attention to emulation and reward work to promptly motivate individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, encourage working spirit to help officers and employees improve their sense of responsibility, work efficiency and create motivation for development throughout the unit.

In 2025, Ngu Hanh Son Environmental Enterprise identified the key tasks as organizing the good implementation of production and business tasks assigned by the corporation, promoting development solutions suitable to the actual conditions of the city.

Accordingly, the enterprise strives to achieve a 100% household waste collection rate in the entire district; continue to mechanize waste collection in the entire Khue My ward, continue to recruit workers to meet the development needs of the suburban area; promptly handle people's feedback, not allowing hot spots to occur; effectively direct the implementation of collection work in accordance with regulations, while promoting and diversifying sanitation service activities to develop revenue sources.

The enterprise also actively exploits revenue sources, striving to achieve and exceed the annual revenue target assigned by the company by 3-4%. In order to continue promoting achievements and aiming at the set goals in urban environmental protection, the enterprise focuses on propaganda andeducation for employees to properly implement labor insurance regimes and production processes; and to prevent occupational safety and traffic safety incidents.

“In the face of the situation where some people are not aware of protecting the surrounding environment and are dumping garbage, bulky objects, and illegal prices, affecting the performance of the enterprise's tasks, we will promote more extensive propaganda among the people to overcome the above problem. The entire enterprise continues to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, and determination to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to building Ngu Hanh Son district to be increasingly green, clean, beautiful, and develop sustainably,” said Mr. Hanh.
