Many special activities at Hung Temple Festival 2024

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2024 will take place from April 9 to 18 (ie the 1st to 10th of the 3rd lunar month), at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site (Viet Tri city) and districts, towns and cities in Phu Tho province.

The Hung King's death anniversary is held on the 10th day of the third lunar month every year and has entered the subconscious of every Vietnamese person.

The ceremony includes: The death anniversary of the national ancestor Lac Long Quan and the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the mother Au Co on April 14, 2024 (ie March 6, Giap Thin year); The death anniversary of the Hung Kings and the flower offering ceremony at the relief "Uncle Ho talking to cadres and soldiers of the Vanguard Army" on April 18, 2024 (ie March 10, Giap Thin year); The incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings of districts, towns and cities in Phu Tho province from April 9 to 18, 2024 (ie March 1 to 10, Giap Thin year).

This year, the activities of the Festival are closely linked with tourism, forming a series of activities of the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land, expressing unique cultural identity, creating attractiveness, attracting tourists, widely promoting the potential, strengths, and cultural tourism resources of Phu Tho.

The highlight is the opening ceremony of the Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of Giap Thin 2024 on April 9 (March 1 of the lunar calendar) held at the Central Festival Stage, Hung Temple Historical Site.
